PRI Talent is hiring a Senior Program Manager on behalf of our client. This role is a full-time, 1099 contract staff augmentation position working with a company that is a leader in reducing electronic waste and finding value in gently used electronics. The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating large-scale implementations of enterprise-wide IT initiatives, driving the rapid realization of our Client's corporate strategic goals through initiative delivery and execution to meet the needs and expectations of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) customers and business partners. Work with Product Owners and scrum masters across teams to apply, implement, and enforce Scrum principles and practices, facilitating continuous improvement and identifying and removing impediments to delivery. This prominent role will continuously facilitate a team dynamic that maximizes performance by improving agile practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Program Manager, managing Initiatives, Projects, and Programs across projects – managing end-to-end delivery, scope, communication, timelines & processes.
  • Resolving impediments /risks overseeing Scrum processes and coordinating with Scrum teams.
  • Assist in defining reporting requirements for workstreams to track status, communicate results, track budget implications, and proactively raise issues and risks to leadership teams.
  • Apply Agile principles and practices across team(s), leading by example.
  • Managing Planning sessions, SoS, cross-team, cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage PI planning and Pre-PI planning sessions across teams.
  • Assist with coordinating people and projects (occasionally facilitating changes) with a strong focus on deliverables.
  • Create and manage self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints.
  • Work with stakeholders to accurately report progress, risks, successes, and failures.
  • Help to ensure development teams work toward core the Scrum principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.

Education, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or related subject /or demonstrated capability through four (4) previous years of experience and education
  • Five (5) years of Program Manager experience
  • Five (5) years of working with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Teach systems thinking and servant leadership
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Creation of PowerPoint presentations for leadership audiences
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments 
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy 
  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities  
  • Experience with Agility Tools a plus (JIRA, Miro, Confluence)
